Dear Year 7 and Year 8 boys,
Auditions for the Boys’ Choir will be held tomorrow at the times given below. I will be offering places to 6 boys for the Christmas period of concerts and services, with a further 6-8 boys being offered places for the New Year. Being in the Boys’ Choir is a big commitment, and so I should only be seeing boys who fulfil these requirements: ü Being able to attend rehearsals on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at 7.55 – 8.25 am ü Being able to attend the Full Choir rehearsal every Thursday at 4.00 – 5.30 pm (including evensong at 5.30 – 6.15 pm once per month) ü Being able to commit to singing in professional engagements in London and elsewhere in the evening and at weekends where appropriate ü Being passionate about music and singing ü Having a colourful voice, singing strongly and with spirit ü Being able to read music ü Being a good team member ü Being able to obey every one of my instructions at all times for the rest of your life ü Appreciating my sense of humour Because lots of boys are wanting to audition, the times are organised by form and by other activities. A couple of pupils have had their PE kit, Games kit or school uniform taken, quite possibly by mistake. If you have accidently taken somebody else’s items of clothing, please return it back to the correct person or bring the items to me in the PE office.
Check your belongings when you get home, including shoes, boots and trainers and do not assume they are yours and that you don’t need to check. You will need to check for names to be sure! On Monday, you can pay at least £2 and bring in your own clothes for charity
All pupils need to be lined by the London Road gates by 9:10am tomorrow morning ready to go across to the pool.
Please try and remember what group you were in!
